Flowers

I am so excited about our flowers.  Our florist is Manor House Flowers.  The owner, Mandy Merriman, has been great to work with so far.  She works out of her home in Lewis Center, and you get such a personal, one-on-one feel when working with her!  She is creating my bouquet, the bridesmaids' bouquets, boutonnieres for the guys, the floral reception centerpieces, our cake topper, and the ceremony arch.  We are not getting bouts or corsages for the moms, dads, or grandparents, because we thought that money could be better spent somewhere else in the budget.  My mom found her corsage to be more of a nuisance than anything else at my sister's wedding, so I was more than willing to forgo that expense!  Instead we will be giving our flower centerpieces to important family members after the reception.  Instead of renting the vases from Mandy, we are buying them ourselves to be able to do this.  We will have flower centerpieces for half of the tables.  The vases will be lined with yellow lemon slices and wrapped with a pink ribbon. I can't wait to see how they look!

Flowers we will be using

• Bride's Bouquet: Medium size, hand-tied bouquet to include hot pink Ravel roses, soft pink Lisianthus, soft yellow Santa Fe roses, lime green hypericum berries, and hot pink spray roses with touches of greenery throughout.  Stem wrapped with thin hot pink ribbon.

• Bridesmaids' Bouquets: Medium size, hand-tied bouquet to include soft yellow Lemon Ice mini gerber daisies, soft yellow stock, and lime green hypericum berries with touches of hot pink spray roses and greenery throughout.  Stem wrapped with soft yellow satin ribbon.

• Groom's Boutonniere: Single hot pink Ravel rose with touches of lime green hypericum berries and greenery.

• Groomsmen's Boutonnieres: Single soft yellow Santa Fe rose with touches of lime green hypericum berries and greenery.

• Ring Bearer's Boutonniere: Two hot pink spray roses with touches of lime green hypericum berries and greenery.
